WHITE-BELLIED SEA EAGLE COUPLE SITTING ON TREE BRANCH AND COOING STORY: A white-bellied sea eagle couple sang a "duet" while visiting their nest at Newington Nature Reserve in Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney.

Video taken on Sunday (February 16) by Sea-EagleCAM, a research project started by BirdLife Australia volunteers, showed the two eagles known as 'Lady' and 'Dad' sitting on a tree and cooing.

The singing was an indication of bonding between the pair, who have been together since early 2016, Sea-EagleCAM told Reuters in a message on social media.

Every year the birds court each other before starting their nesting process, Sea-EagleCAM added.
