Greater Lafayette man killed in Missouri gas station shootings

A clerk, two customers including Perkins, and a responding police officer were killed.

Of missouri - a man originally from lafayette is dead after a shooting and crash in springfield.

46- year old shannon perkins was one of four people killed in an attack at a gas station monday night.

Police say the attacker had been firing shots out his window as he drove down a street.

He crashed into a gas station and started firing at customers and employees.

A clerk, two customers including perkins, and a responding police officer were killed.

Police say the driver then turned the gun on himself.

Investigators don't have a motive.

Perkins was living in springfield, missouri, but still has family in the lafayette area.
