Spring break is now over for Butte College and students return Wednesday but not to classrooms.

Today most students will be doing everything mostly through computer.

I spoke to the dean of student services.

She tells me that students will continue with classes through their online learning management system -*canva* since all butte college facilities are closed during the pandemic - i asked the dean what other ways students will learn today.

"some students and faculty will be as simple as going back and forth across with butte college email.

Then we have some faculty who will be using zoom!

Zoom is an audio or video conference platform" students who don't have access to internet or a computer must contact their professor to make accomodations.

Student services will still be available but they will all be done online or through the phone.

The college previously opened its computer labs while maintaining social distancing - those have since been closed.

The most reent enrollment numbers for the college - from last august - show nearly 10- thousand students enrolled.###
