>> just because you can't go to the gym doesn't mean your health needs to take a back seat.

The owner of the downtown studio that'ser normally filled with a lot of sweaty people doing all skies of contorting us thank you so much for being with us, and looks like you're not in the studio at pretty.

>> i'm not, i'm in my home studio now.

>>> but the one thing that you're known for is having videos of your classes online.

So just because someone can't come into your studio to do exercises and the full workout, they can do it from the comfort of our home, and why is it that we remember to take care of ourselves with the coronavirus keeping us all at home?

>> yeah, the way i approach fitness, it's a whole well being, so mental and spiritual and right now, there's a lot of uncertainty going on in our world.

And we're all just -- that can feel really hoove and stagnant.

And i know for me and millions of other people, every time you move your body, it releases these amazing endorphins in your brain, and we feel better so, if we can approach these crazy times with a little bit more ease and presence and surrender, and maybe finding the glimmers of hope in these times.

>> that's true, and let me ask you this.

You normally have classes that are pre determined that people can download and then follow at their own leisure, and are you doing any kind of live streaming at this point?

>> we are.

Actually, we are, so for our numbers, it's free, and actually, it's on -- we have it on instagram, creating a whole new page.

It's called at taste of streaming, and if you're somebody who just wants to drop in, you can memo us at the works.

With $10 for a drop-in, we stream every day live another 10:00 p.m.

And those streams are there for 24 hours.

>> can you go late if you roll out of bed?

>> you can, and the whole stream up there for 24 hours.

You can start and stop it as you leave, and that's what the live one is.

With the streaming platform, we have 55-plus workouts that you can start and stop any time you want.

>> oh, perfect.

That's more my speed.

>> yes, yes, absolutely.

Let's talk about meditation, and you do a lot of that.

And i think a lot of people are getting stir crazy.

They're being driven nuts by being forced to stay home.

>> absolutely, absolutely.

I actually -- we just published today on our streaming platform a 20 minute meditation so flo, and anybody can watch that for free.

And the importance of melds case is remembering that our minds and body work in unison, so the witch, our minds can be a talk place sometimes, especially with with -- waking up, it's really loud in our face, so we give ourselves a few moments for our heart and our head to get space to breathe.

And we're operating at a much more level playing field.

>> self isolation is a double ended sword.

It can either give you an opportunity to reflect on yourself, or you go down a rabbit hole of dark thoughts, and it doesn't make you feel all that good.

>> absolutely, i think this experience with the covid has given us all of this call it opportunity, call it whatever.

But we're all on a pausing right?

We're all in this perpetual waiting room.

And we have a choice every day with what we're going to do with it, and it's harder right now, it's like what do we do when no one is watching?

>> true.

>> and so every day, i'm making it a priority to get my kids out of the house, and i'm going to meditate.

And listen to my body because we're going to come out of this, there's another side to this, and when i come out, i'm going to feel strong and good.

>> absolutely.

And people having to stay home, and not going to the grocery store, and real quick, what are tips for people to eat healthy and well at this time.

>> one thing, we're home, and i'm going to eat everything in sight because i don't know what else to do.

So if you have a regular routine where you eat breakfast and lunch and dinner, and remember your body is not more hungry because you're standing next to the refrigerator.

>> that's one of the go toes.

>> my husband is the same thing, and i think too, you can make things and freeze things, and sizes that you're going to eat.

Like a bunch of chilis.

We have veggies that were about to go bad, and you can take one out for lunch.

Any kind of food that makes you feel g try to stay away from the sugary junky stuff.

There are canceled foods that are not terrible.

Make yourself beans or soups, and proteins.

>> stay away from the preservatives and the sugar and things like that.

How do people log on and where do they find?

>> awesome.

You can find us, the website is the works chs.com, and scroll down, and there's a full-length for streaming.

The first day is free, and after that, $29.99 a month.

And then find us on instagram at the works chs.

And the live streaming is at taste of streaming.

>> thank you, always so good to talk to you.

Get fit.
