North iowa in mason city./// the centers for disease control and prevention is recommending everyone wear a face mask to protect themselves... but the biggest question we wanted to pose... are people following the guidelines?
Kimt news 3 decided to try a little experiment and roamed the streets to find out.
Near mayo park... we found the majority of people not wearing face masks.
One reporter found 7 people walking... biking or hiking without their protective gear.
Close to peace plaza... we found one woman wearing a face mask... but the majority again... were not.
Luckily... we did find a mail carrier following the advice!
