New York Emergency Medical Service workers are working overtime to keep up with the increased demand during the coronavirus pandemic and over 20 percent have tested positive for Covid-19.
Vinny Variele, a Lieutenant for New York firefighters and President of the Uniformed EMS, is among the EMS workers who were infected with Covid-19.
Variele told Cheddar Tuesday he got the virus when the crisis first began in the U.S.
