While some high schools and universities decided on virtual graduations... news 1's leigha mcneil shares how one acadiana mom is working to ensure all 2020 graduates get recognized... standup: amanda hunt created a facebook page for 2020 graduates where the public can adopt a senior and show seniors liek randall green that their four years of hard word did't go unnoticed..

"what would have meant to you to walk across the stage at graduation?"

"i's something that we were told at one point would't happen for randall so to not be able to do it is really disappointing."

Ranall green was diagnosed with aspersers syndrome at the age of 4, so graduating high school is a huge high school huge accomplishment..."i's been good i mean i's been great really i's even me a lot of opportunities and a bunch of new friends" after a quick facebook search margret green, randalls mom stumbled cross the greater acadiana area adopt a senior facebook page.."i have't posted randal's picture yet but i think i's a great idea."

"i just want to make sure that every single kid on that page at least get something."

Amanda hun's youngest son graduating from high school this fall inspired her to create a page where, the community can show their support to the graduating seniors"i's not about sending huge gifts or anything like that, but i know anytime you get something in the mail that someone is thinking of you, it kind of might, if can just put a smile on their face for a minute then you know that is what i was trying to accomplish."

Though i's uncertain if the class of 2020 will get a real graduation at a later date, both randall, marget and amanda are trying to sty positive"w're in the same boat with a lot of other seniors in lots of other families so hearts and prayers go out to them."
