Hopkins county where there have been more than 150 cases of coronavirus and several deaths.

In just a few hours a new covi?19 testing center will be open... john joins us live from madisonville with what you need to know.... good morning john.

Hopkins county has seen the most deaths out of any tr?state area..

And kentucky governor andy beshear took note.

Starting at 8:30 today..

People who have signed up to get tested can come to madisonville north hopkins high school..

To get test for covi?19.

This is one of the four brand new drive thru facilities placed throughout the state to help fight the spread of coronavirus.

Those eligible to get tested are people showing symptoms of coronvirus such as fever or shortness of breath..

Health care workers, first responders, and those who are 65 or older who may have been exposed to covi?19; and anyone with milder symptoms who also may have been exposed to covi?19.

The overall goal of these new testing sights is to conduct 20,000 tests over the next five weeks.

The testing is done free of charge and you*must register online in order to be tested.
