The Shangrila Lane Fire near Starvation Heights is now 90 percent contained at 19 acres.

The agency says that the rain today helped them completely extinguish hotspots that were inside the line.

Firefighters worked around the clock to contain the fire, and will continue mop up operations tomorrow.

And debris on their property.

But this year is so dry and warm that o-d-f has asked people to hold off on burning yard debris until after summer.

Local fire agencies say they've been getting more and more calls about grass fires that have gotten out of control.

We're just trying to put it out there look there's a commonsense approach here that if you are unable to control your burns we were just like you did not do it last night's fire was a reminder that even though we are not in "fire season" the fire conditions are continuing to get worse.
