Going from working parent -- to school?

There may be some help for you -- action news now reporter karen alvarez is live in shasta county, karen, what is the office of education offering as a resource?

They're offering support for parents during this time of distance learning.

Through a program called the "positive parenting program"---or "triple p" group.

It's both an online and interactive program for parents---it provides several tools to help them maintain a more enjoyable family life as distance learning continues.

The program is broken up into two sections--- one for children under 12 years old and the other for teens.

People i spoke to tell me this kind of help is needed.

Parents need a break.

They get tired and may not realize how much stress they're under, so it would really wise for them to reach out for some new tools, just doing something a little different is great for the kids and parents.

Sot(to get all those things set up and to help those parents prepare for those things, there really needs to be a resource and so i think this is really great.

The program is free, includes six sessions, and will launch tomorrow.
