Governor kate brown has apologized to people who have encountered problems trying to apply for unemployment during the coronavirus crisis.

Over twitter she said she's committed to ensuring eligible oregonians get their maximum benfits available.

A record number of people have applied for benefits, but many dealt with breakdowns in the system in recent weeks.

She says nearly 334 thousand applications are being processed-- and they've quad- rupled
