Hayleyãwilliam hedden spent more than a month trying to get unemployment benefits and i'm happy to report he's been successful.

After 5 long weeksãwilliam hedden says he finally received his unemployment money from e-d-d.

It's one of those long term struggles that you have to keep pushing on and can't give up on.

I got ahold of our local representatives, i sent them emails and letters i didn't sit back and give up and think it wasn't gonna happen.

Just keep pushing if you find a different way to get in touch with them.

Keep trying put that pressure on them to get them to move a little bit faster than do it.

Hedden says its less than his usual salary but still a relief.

((this should be your standup)) it does help it's not the same as getting a paycheck but its enough to get by right now until i'm able to work again.

And he has a message for people still struggling.

Don't give up, keep fighting find a way to put pressure, just don't give up.

Hedden says he never directly got in touch with e-d-d but did speak with local representatives who helped him.
