A new poll finds a majority of americans disapprove of protests against restrictions aimed at preventing the spread the coronavirus.

The survey from the associated press finds 55 percent of disapprove of the protests, while 31 percent approve.

The poll also finds that 71 percent of americans favor requiring people to stay in their homes except for essential errands.

And 67 percent polled say they favor requiring bars and restaurants to close.
