Was the subject of oneida county's facebook live town hall meeting held earlier tonight....this all taking place just hours after the mohawk valley region learned we have met the seven criteria to start phase one of reopening.
Oneida county executive anthony picente, along with other county officials, answered live and pre- submitted questions to the county's facebook page.
This was the second facebook town hall the county has held to update the public on where things stand in regards to the coronavirus and its affect on our area.
Some of the many questions oneida county residents wanted answers to dealt with things like the reopening of campgrounds, and going to the dentist.
"we have been sticking with the state guidelines on campgrounds.i know i said we would move that back to july 1st, however after may 15th, after our reopening we'll issue guidelines for campgrounds so that they can open on june 1st."
"we have not been given new york state direction or guidance as to these medical practices opening, but i believe the american dental association should be giving guidelines soon to their practices for what they need to do in their offices, besides the actual care of the patient."
