The World Health Organization has warned against hasty lifting of lockdowns.
WHO Director General said that while lockdowns have been able to slow the spread of the virus, they have also had a serious socio-economic impact.
He urged countries to ask if the epidemic is under control and whether it can handle a resurgence, before deciding on lifting restrictions.
