The dow falling 516 points the s-and-p down 50 points and the nasdaq off 139 points federal reserve chairman jerome powell saying more measures will likely be needed to pull the u-s economy out of its downturn, but did not specify what those measures might be.

Powell adding that the economy should recover substantially when the coronavirus is controlled.

Amazon will end its hourly wage increases and double overtime pay for warehouse and delivery workers in june.

The company had announced the policies in march, and says they won't be extended beyond may 30.

This as tensions between amazon and its warehouse workers have grown, and warehouse workers have called for amazon to put greater safety protections in place.

And uber will require all of its drivers and riders to wear masks starting monday to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The company is launching a set of new safety features in its app, including a tool that checks if drivers are wearing face masks before starting
