Meanwhile, lowpressure will continue tomeander around the TennesseeValley.

This will lead toincreasing winds throughoutthe day out of the ENE, thanksto the tightening pressuregradient.

Winds could gust ofto 2━30 mph at times.

Thehigh to the north will act tokeep the northern zones drytoday most likely.

However,further south (Nelson,Augusta, Albemarle, andHighland counties) will see aninflux of moisture associatedwith the aforementioned low,leading to some showers acrossthat region today.

Some areascould pick up up to half aninch of rainfall in thosesouthwestern zones today, andperhaps up to an inch alongthe ridges where upslope flowwill act to enhance rainfallrates.

Highs today will rangefrom the upper 60s for mostareas north of the ━64corridor and east of the BlueRidge to the upper 50s to low60s up the ━81 corridor anddown into Charlottesville.This thanks to the closerproximity to the upper low tothe southwest.
