Happening today... it's move- out day for the temporary field medical station set up at the enloe rehabilition center.

The temporary site did not see any patients.

The beds and other equipment will be relocated for possible staging or expansion elswhere in the state.### there is a free coronavirus testing site open in corning... testing process itself takes no more than ten minutes, and you will be able to get results in a few days the site has the capacity for more than 100 tests per day.

The site is at corning high school and will be open from 7 am to 7 pm, for the next two weeks.

But you do need an appointment.

County and state employees can now take a 20 hour online course to learn how to become contact tracers.

That's when public health reps track down people who are sick -- and who may have been exposed to coronavirus.

Through the program butte county added 12 new tracers have join the county's team, bringing the total number in butte to 41.

The program is part of the governor's reopening requirements.

Reps with biotech company moderna says it measured neutralizing antibodies in eight people it vaccinated... which were proven to block the ability of the virus to infect cells.

The study results still need to be peer reviewed.
