We are following breaking news this morning.

We're getting our first look at the man decatur police say killed 3 people in danville.

A manhunt is now underway for carson peters!

Police have 3 warrants for capital murder after last night's shooting.

In the last half hour-- we've also learned more about the victims. they're identified as 54- year-old teresa peters, 55- year-old james miller and 50- year-old tammy smith.

A 4th victim is in stable condition at huntsville hospital.

Police say the shooting was an isolated, domestic incident at a home on on flint creek private drive.

Let's get right to waay 31's rodneya ross who joins us live from the decatur police department.

Rodneya you've spent all morning gathering the latest details on this case-- bring us up to date.

This morning i stopped by the home where police say carson peters shot and killed teresa peters, james miller, and tammy smith.

From what i could see there was no crime scene tape and police weren't there.

Decatur police say if you see him -- don't approach, and call 911.

Decatur police say he shot four people last night at a home in danville.

Three people died at the home -- the fourth was taken to huntsville hospital in critical condition.

Police told me that victim is now in stable condition.

Right now we know the shooting was a domestic incident -- though police have not released details on peters relationship to the victims. i talked to a woman who told me she was sitting outside her home when the shooting happened.

Judith harris "i just heard shots and then we heard the cops coming, flying down through there.

I figured, well something's up."

We also know a red jeep was recovered from the scene.

It's not clear if it belonged to the suspect.

The decatur police department is leading the investigation.

The morgan county sheriff's office is assisting.
