USA Today columnist Bob Nightengale told KPIX sports director Dennis O'Donnell he is confident baseball's owners and players will reach a deal for the sport to return in July.
"They wouldn't be working out if they weren't optimistic about restarting.
The owners want it badly, you talk to players they're ready to go, so I'm very optimistic.
