Video filmed on May 26 shows the ruins of the Vicente Calderon Stadium, which had a capacity of more than 50,000 and was located on the banks of the Manzanares in the Arganzuela district of Spain's capital.

Calderon was a businessman and president of Atlético Madrid for 20 years.

The cost of demolishing Atleti's stadium has reportedly cost tens of millions.

The club been in the Wanda Metropolitano since the start of the 2017-18 season.

According to reports, a park will be put in the stadium's place.
