New tonight at ten--evansville police are looking for information after an early morning shooting--that left two people dead.... 44news reporter andrew garcia reports from evansville tonight--with those details.

Just before 4 am this morning, evansville police reported that three people were shot at the conoco gas station on kentucky avenue which resulted in two fatalities.

The vanderburgh county corner identified the two victims as 20- year-old mariah strother who died at the scene and 20-year-old keijuan baker who later died at st vincent hospital.

Police reported the third victim is in stable condition.

We all have different stories, we all have different traumas all types of different things but she was innocent, she wasn't in the streets, she wasn't doing anything she wasn't supposed to do.

She went to the gas station for a lighter.

She was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Whatever happened that night, that was not meant for her.

She was a very sweet girl and she had a lot to offer.

She had a very out going personality.

Epd believes there were two suspects who fled the scene before officers arrived.

There are no descriptions of the suspects at this time.

Honor this young lady by loving one another.

We have to start loving and having god's love in our heart.

This baby right here if there would have been love in the hearts of those people that pulled the trigger, i wouldn't be holding a poster, i would be holding her.
