Hoosiers will finally be able to cast their primary votes.... governor eric holcomb says 20-20 is the first year indiana has ever moved an election date.

The may 5th primary was scratched due to the pandemic.

Poll workers will now wear masks and social distancing will be in place -- at polling sites across the state.

44 news checked in with the warrick county circuit court clerk -- "we're expecting that it's going to b e a very long night, because of the number of absentee ballots that we have to process."

Nearly 400- thousand hoosiers opting for a mail-in ballot for this election.

Polls are open from six this morning until six this evening..

Officials say --- voters in some areas should be prepared for longer wait times-- in part-- because the number of poll workers is lower this year.

And voters should check to see if their usual polling place is open-- or if it's been moved to another location..
