A new wave of protests in lexington after a deadly d-u-i crash takes the life of a black motorcyclist in lexington.
According to investigators..
The wreck happed at richmond road and preston avenue just before nine last night.
Police say daezon morgan..
Was traveling down richmond road, when a car turning left on preston avenue..
Collided with his motorcyle.
Morgan died in the crash.
He was only 25-years-old.
Police say the driver..
Matthew starling was intoxicated when it happened.
According to officers... starling turned himself in this afternoon.
Starling is now charged with dui and manslaughter... tonight, protesters who have been marching in downtown lexington for the last 11 nights...are rallying around daezon morgan's family...as they mourn..

Monica, protesters started on richmond road tonight.
L3 monica:live white right now this group is... they're angry.and grieving.saying daezon morgan's death is only making them angrier at police.
Dazeon morgan's family is here...including his 8 children.joined by protesters and organizers from the past 11 nights of protests who would usually have started their night marching downtown.
People brought blue balloons and candles.
If you were around richmond road or live near here you probably heard this group...their voices ...but also the motorcycles.
Dazeon was driving his motorcycle last night when he was killed...and friend's and family who also drive motorcycles came out and rev'd their engines for dazeon.
.dazeon's family says his death makes them want to spread the message black lives matter...even more.
They..and protesters.think police were too sympathetic to the man accused of hitting morgan.police say they're following the law.
Sondra morgan...daezons wife says she wants everyone to know daezon's name.
Sondra morgan, widow "i want everybody to know my husbands name.... and everyone know his name... a family man a man of god... and i'm forever broken."

Lexington police released tonight there was a disorder at the crash that officers had to call in back up for.
Lexington police says it places charges based on the investigation, regardless of demographics, including race.
