This comes after two employees recently tested positive for coronavirus.

Sierra, what other changes is the university making this morning?

We know this morning some buildings on campus will not open.

That includes part of the von braun research hall where an employee who tested positive works.

A student told us they found out through a mass-email from the school.

The first case was discovered on may 30th and the second on june 9th.

One student told us the diagnoses don't surprise him.

"i found out it was places i haven't been around, but the first thought was, first of all, whether they are ok or not, and how long it's been since they tested positive for the virus" the shelbie king hall is now open to employees.

We're expecting an update from officials from the alabama department of public health and county on coronavirus here in our area tomorrow.
