Macon Volunteer Clinic’s midtown garden received a much-needed renovation.

Now nearly six weeks later, the weeds are gone.

On the side of the clinic they created a garden for staff and volunteers to enjoy but over time maintenance stopped" sot: lori snow "overgrown and kinda fuzzy with a lot of weeds" nearly 6 weeks later, the weeds are gone.

Sot:sutton snow "revamping it would be a good thing to do to this area" snow says the planning started after he needed a project for eagle scouts.

So once he saw the poor condition of the midtown garden, snow says he wanted to help out.

The 17-year old begin drafting up fundraiser letters to get money for all of his gardening needs.

"we took out an old bench that was rotten and we put in a new one.

We planted some shrub as well and we put in some molts" and he repaired the irrigation system.

The teen gave the left over money to the clinic for medical supply and anything else the facility needed.
