Yeah danielle it seems as stories continue to develop around the country the theme for chattanooga demonstrations develop also.
The latest theme, is protesting the officers involved in the altercation in atlanta, leading to the death of a man in a wendy's parking lot.
Take a look at this video.
You see several cars being forced to turn around on the veterans bridge as protesters travel across.
Law enforcement offers demonstrations the right of way, almost a designated route as they travel through chattanooga.
The crowd continued through georgia avenue, marching over 3 miles through the night.
Voices heard through the crowd demand justice for rashard death.
The man in the latest atl altercation.
I asked protest leaders how a situation so close to our area effects chattanooga citizens.
"the murder of our brother rashad hits so hard because it's right down the road.
We often, a lot of us visit atlanta.
A lot of us are very familiar with atlanta and again, we just see the egrigous act murder.
He was running away.
He was not a fatal threat and he was shot in the back and a lot of black men especially feel like that could them at anytime.
In the midst of uprising and movement to abolish police brutaltiy, we see more and more brutality and it really hits home.
It really hurts."
"if we're going to be out here protesting for black lives matter, then we also need to be out here standing strong for when one of our own kill us.let's not stand up for when it's someone of the opposite race killing black people.
Let's stand up when it's black on black crime."
Protest ended continue through the night.
