LIVE SHOT: March to the courthouse live from downtown

Protestors are beginning to gather outside the Tippecanoe County Courthouse.

This afternoon, they're expecting to march from the courthouse to the lafayette municipal building.

News 18's micah upshaw joins live to tell us what's going on, micah?

Marlee, i'm standing on 3rd street where some protesters are gathering.

This is a community lead protest but a leader of a local black advocate group did confirm that more people will be gathering to march at 2pm.
