Lawmakers cited the deadly impact columbus'arrival had on indegienous populations for the removal - that statue has bee in place since 18-83.

## evacuations are now happening in arizona as crews work to put out "the bush fire"... -started over the weekend and continues to rage on... you can see from this aerial video large clouds of smoke and flames throughout the area.

The bush fire has burned more than 64 thousand acres fire representatives say this fire was started by a vehicle.

Happening today... the push is on to make sure the people of california are accurately counted for the 2020 census.

Today kicks off a statewide effort by the state and community outreach partners - to canvas communities and encourage people to complete the census..

The california census reports the state is one of the hardest in the nation to gather accurate counts.### the u-s, canada and mexico have agreed to keep their shared borders closed to non-essential travel until july 21st.

Governments of the three countries announced tuesday they are extending the agreement to limit border crossings during the coronavirus pandemic.

The restrictions were first announced on march 18th and were extended in april and may.

Across the country states are seeing a spike in coronavirus cases... six states reported record-breaking increases in cases tuesday.

19 states are reporting increases in average daily new cases compared to two weeks ago.

Texas saw a record jump of more than 26- hundred.

And florida has reported nearly 15 thousand new cases over the last ten days..
