>> we have two new exhibits going up and opening this weekend.

We have the show is the delightful, the the studio of associated.

So it is 30 quilts from art cultures in missouri, kansas, indiana and oklahoma.

It's all of them expressing their idea of what is delight and abundance and happiness.

The second show is power to the people, mexican print makers from the first cold war.

And a collection from kansas city.

Their works on paper and it's a very powerful show.

These artists were very influential on american artists like thomas benton.

It will be great to look at the permanent check and see what spreads they can get between the two and it's kind of an interesting coincidence.

We plan our exhibitions out for two, three years.

It's an interesting coincidence that one show is about joy and happiness, and the other one is about protest and expression and speaking to power.

So both of them kind of hit something we need at this moment.

>> and you are open for business now?

>> we are.

We're open during our regular hours, 10:00 to 4:00.

>> we are encouraging social distancing, six feet between visitors we added some barriers and things like that at our desk, the primary place the public interacts with our staff.

Staff is generally wearing masks when we're in public spaces in museums and added extra hand sanitizer.

>> yes, our cafe will be reopening for lunch next week.

The week of june 15th.

We will be open on wednesdays and thursdays for lunch for now.

>> and is there a maximum a lot of people?

>> we have two new exhibits.

They're going up this weekend.
