Allen County Public Library fully reopens to the public July 6

On Monday, July 6 all locations of the Allen County Public Library will reopen to the public.

ACPL officials said visitors should be aware of some important changes before returning to their favorite branch.

Next week people will finally be able to walk through the allen county library doors to check out some of their favorite books..however it will look a little different.

Plexi glass shields have been installed at service desks, masks are required for library visitors and staff.

Hand sanitizer stations are placed throughout the building.

They've also added touch-free technology to the self- checkout stations.

For people who would prefer curbside pick up to check out books, that option will still
