The score isn't looking too good for the honkers right now, but that doesn't matter to the fans, who are just happy to be here at mayo field.xx america's pastime is back in the med city.

Every strikeout.... and every base hit fans are cheering on, getting a taste of real time action for the first time all summer.

"it's great to be back at the ballpark, it's my favorite part of summer, something i've looked forward to since probably january."

Rochester resident kirsten krull is one of the many spending their night at the field.

Jackie tester hosts a few players on the team, and is thrilled to watch them on the diamond.

"we've had a lot of really great players through the years that have come through.

This is our 11th year hosting so we've had about 30 players come through our house.

"if you want to grab a seat to catch the action, or just catch a foul ball, you'll notice some changes when you enter the ballpark, mainly this sign right here."

These signs are located all throughout the bleachers, asking fans to socially distance themselves.

You'll find reminders all around the park to ensure the safety of fans and staff.

Things are different, but having baseball back makes it feel normal again.

"so far, it's still feeling pretty normal, i think once like i said the game starts going itself people aren't really going to pay as much attention to who's here."
