The lights are back on after a crash knocked out power to hundreds of people in midtown st.

Joseph overnight... this was the scene down on south 22nd and mary street late last night.

Police on scene said an suv lost control while driving north along 22nd.

And struck a telephone pole carrying some transformers.

An officer on scene describes how the accident happened.
