MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is in the hospital after being shot at an apartment complex in Macon.

Medical staff pronounced stewart dead at 11:19 this morning.

Deputies say the other workers are in stable condition.

A macon man is recovering after being shot at an apartment complex last night.

A news release from the bibb county sheriff's office says it happened at green meadows apartments on log cabin drive around 10 o'clock.

Deputies say there was a fight in the parking lot, and a 34-year-old man was shot several times.

Deputies say he drove himself from the apartment complex to a circle k store on mercer university drive.

He was taken to the medical center, navicent health and is in stable condition.
