This comes from a incident on jellys ferry road on january 28th 20-19.

Investigators say a deputy fired four rounds at carl thayer after they say he deflected a taser and then charged at a deputy with a knife.

### the community action agency of butte county is planning another tailgate food giveaway to help people in need.

It's scheduled for monday, july 20th - from nine to noon or until supplies last.

The giveaway will take place in the parking lot of the nelson avenue sports complex- in oroville.

## cal fire investigators said thursday that pg&e is responsible for the 2019 kincade fire that destroyed nearly 400 homes...and that it's transmission lines sparked the fire.

It happened last october, near the town of 'geyserville' in sonoma county.

In a statement pg&e did not deny its equipment caused the fire, but said - it does not have access to cal fire's investigative report or the evidence collected.## the city of oakland has reached a multi- million dollar settlement in the so-called ghost ship fire.

The oakland city council has agreed to pay $32.7-million to the families of 32 victims of the december 2016 fire.

That 2016 fire swept through a converted warehouse during an electronic music party killing 36 people.

The settlement is one of the largest in city history.

Tension continues to build between lawmakers in georgia over the role of masks in the pandemic..
