A subcommittee organized to help develop a reopening plan for schools is leaning toward a hybrid virtual and in-person schedule.
They're leaning toward reopening in a hybrid format this fall.
This is your top story at noon- the assistant principal of schools presented different plans for reopening to a subcommittee.
The subcommittee proposed that schools reopen in a hybrid plan.
Here's what that would look like: students, in grades k-12 would be divided into two groups and attend school in-person on two different sets of days each week, and do remote learning three days a week.
There's also talks of a frequently asked questions page on the schools website that would answer questions and concerns regarding school reopening.
There's a meeting next thursday to discuss the proposal.
It still needs approval from the state.
We'll have more on this tonight on the live at five newshour and newschannel 2 at 6.
