The state has flagged 107 reopening plans from school districts claiming they were incomplete or deficient.

9 of those plans are from school districts locally.

Districts say they have.

News channel 2's brent kearney spoke to some school officials about how they're communicating with the state to correct the issue.

The start of a new school year is just weeks away.

But new york state is saying 107 districts will not have in-person learning if they don't submit their plans to the state for approval.

One of the schools on the list is the waterville central school district.

Since june, the school has had three superintendents.

Interim superintendent kathy davis says their school's plan was submitted on time....but not done correctly.

(take fs on statement) senior advisor to the governor rich azzopardi says some districts filed with the state education department but not the department of health.

And that's being rectified.

Utica city school district had that issue.... it followed up with the health department on monday.

Other districts, on the list, have taken to social media... and their school websites... to tell parents and students not to worry.

(take fs on statements) oriskany central school district.... "please know the documents for the new york state education department reopening plan and the department of health new york foward safety plan were submitted."

Camden central school district says the same and adds... "we have receipts that the plans were submitted."

Central valley school district... "we were informed that we will be taken off the list" schools on the list have until friday to resubmit their plan correctly.

Brent kearney news channel 2 > the oneida county executive has called a briefing for tomorrow.

County officials tell newschannel two...school reopening will be addressed.

Meantime -- the utica city school district has three parent meetings scheduled....to go over the reopening plan and answer questions.

Thursday at 5:30.

Friday at 11:00 a.m.

And monday at 2:00 p.m.
