The limestone county school district tells us they are currently hiring more teachers for the 2400 students enrolled in virtual school.

Classes were scheduled to start yesterday but some parents tell waay 31 they don't have the login information they need to access the system.

The district says the login information comes from the student's teacher..and until more teachers are hired, some students are just going to have to wait to get started.

One parent says it's been a frustrating process leah smith, "keep emailing people that i don't know are my son's teachers and asking them questions that they don't know the answer to" the district say parents received an email stating students won't be penalized or counted absent because of the late start.

The district says they will begin reaching out to students in the next few days to discuss procedures and schedule adjustments.
