WAAY 31's Alexis Scott spoke to a parent who says she put her kids in the virtual learning academy.

"the experts have told us if you start experiencing symptoms, you've already had it and started spreading it," krysten scott's 4 children are enrolled in limestone county's virtual academy system.

Traditional classes started last week and more than 300 students are currently in coronavirus related quarantine.

Scott is still waiting for her students to start online learning.

The district sent a note to parents saying with 2400 students enrolled in the virtual program, it's still working to find enough teachers.

5:12 "they've had since all summer to make sure this was set up and ready to go," limestone county school's virtual cooridnator did say the district hopes to have enough teachers and a curriculum in the next few days.

But scott told me it's just frustrating.

2:11-2:23 "i really needed them to be on point so i could be on point because i have to set up schedule.

3 of them are in virtual and one's in pre-school at home," reporting in limestone county alexis scott waay-31
