In butte county fires are burning the inskip and philbrook reservoir area - but many of the 34 lightning fires in the butte lighting complex are under control.

The 5-6 fire beyond feather falls is 250 acres and 25% contained with forward spread stopped.

The 1-12 fire abover sterling city has merged with the 1-6 fire and about 700 acres with no contaiment.

In lassen county the north complex of lightning fires has grown to more than 10,300 acres.

The largest of the fires is the sheep fire - burning near diamond mountain ridge above susanville.

Fire official now say that fire ha burned more than 52 hundred acres... with zero percent containment.

The lassen county sheriff's office has issued mandatory evacuations for areas along richmond gold run roads.### part of that north complex..

It has burned over 15,000 acres southwest of red bank road - west of red bluff with zero percent containment.

It is now burning in every direction.

That fire has triggered evacuation orders for hwy 36 west in between the baker fire station at bowman road and r.

Wild horse ranch and south to lowry road.

And we are still tracking the august complex of lightning fires... those are burning in the mendocino national forest..

At last count the fire was over 117 thousand acres..

And was jst 6% contained..

There is an evacuation center set up in willows..

Shasta county got 3-point-6 million dollars from the "cal- home disaster recovery funding" to help carr fire victims rebuild.

This money will help low-income homeowners who lost their homes 2 years ago build new quality homes.

The county expects to help around 25 to 30 people.
