Middleville man injured, charged with unlicensed operation after striking a cow in Newport

State Police say 33-year-old Joshua W.

Allen of Middleville was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Impala on Newport Road Thursday when he struck a black cow that entered the roadway.

This morning.

An accident between a car and cow happened just after 10 o'clock last night on newport road, in newport.

State police say the cow entered the road way and the driver was unable to avoid hitting the animal...the cow was killed.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with cuts on his knee.

He was given a traffic summons for aggravated unlicensed operation.
