We previously had concerned over late school buses so we asked ccsd how they planned to address that.

New company to the district now getting in charge of getting those students to school on time safely.

Now, late penalties the district says are going to apply if buses are late.

Ccsd expecting a 95% on time performance record from that company.

The district has also a new app.

It is called first view.

The first month or so of school it will serve simply as notification tool letting parents and guardians know when buses are arriving.

After that it will serve as gps to show them where their child's bus is in real-time.

>> already test to make sure if there are any issues that we are troubleshooting and resolve the issues.

So far so good.

The drivers were excited.

We brought in a new fleet.

You will see the first student on the branding.

Once again we are ready and have all the covid-19 protocols in place and ensure the safety not only the students but employees also.

>> brooke: speaking of protocol all students and drivers will be wearing masks the entire bus route.

If they don't have one they will be given sanitized one by the driver.

Windows and roof air vents will stay cracked for ventilation and no more than two children per assigned seat.

Those ccsd buses, guys, will be rolling out to first stop
