Kind motorist carries elderly disabled woman across the road in Thailand

This is the heartwarming moment a motorist stopped his car to carry a disabled pensioner across the road.

The elderly woman, who was unable to walk, was trying to haul herself over the pedestrian crossing using only her arms. Kind driver Ping Kritsada stopped at the junction and ran from his car towards her.

He then carried the woman to the other side of the road in Nakhon Ratchasima province, northeastern Thailand, on August 12.

Ping's wife Tik Potjaman recorded the act of selflessness.

She said she was confused when he stopped the car and suddenly ran out.

Tik added: "I did not think that my husband would help her right after he noticed the old lady.

I was so proud of him when I saw him holding her to the other side of the road."
