Post office closures prompted by Bear fire left evacuees confused

Several United States post offices have had to close due to the fast-moving fires in Northern California.

Some evacuees from the Bear Fire shared their frustrations about not knowing where to pick up their mail.

Action news now reporter 'dani masten' spoke to some evacuees from the bear fire today who haven't been able to pick up their mail.

Juddee schaffer was evacutaed from her home last tuesday..

She retutned home monday..

And still no mail in sight..

We received mail tuesday and then have not had any mail since last tuesday..so we really just don't know."

Evacuees tell me the most frustrating part about not receiving mail..

It's not a matter of convenience..

It's survival..
