After a late night chase that ended in a crash on dayton and elmer roads.

Deputies arrested two people they say were involved in the chase.

At last count that fire has burned over 77 thousand acres and is 30 percent contained.

The oroville city council unanimously voted to declare the state of emergency during a special city meeting wednesday..

Mayor chuck reynolds says now the city can apply for federal funding to help in the recovery.

Last week, the judge issued a restraining order - preventing the bureau from wrapping up the nationwide count by september 30th.

A coalition of cities and civil rights group say the census should be extended a month, to make sure the count is accurate.
