Man flies ‘Nazi’ flag from flagpole in Worcester, UK

A man has defended his decision to fly a ‘Nazi’ flag outside his Worcestershire home.

The flag, featuring an image of a Swastika and an eagle is flying in the garden of Steve Allman from Worcester.

He’s a keen vexillologist (studier of flags and symbols) who said it was simply “a Buddhist symbol” and he “wasn’t right-wing, let alone Nazi.” According to local newspaper the Worcester News, a spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “We have received a report of a hate incident in relation to a flag being flown outside a property in Hindlip, this is now being investigated.”
