Water project passes in Schuyler

Residents in the east Schuyler water district voted in favor of a new water transmission line Tuesday.

Only impacted property owners in schuyler were eligible to vote on tuesday.... --as they would pay a yearly fee, if approved.

The schuyler town supervisor says they will move forward to try and bring down the price tag and search for more funding options as the transmission line design continues.

That water transmission line will bring water from the mohawk valley water authority into the valley.
