The Harvest Moon appeared above London's skyline on October 1 glowing brightly in the first of two full moons this month.
Peaking at just after 10 pm local time, the lunar sighting was pictured behind the city's iconic Shard skyscraper with Canary Wharf seen in the background.
This full moon garners the name "Harvest Moon" due to it being the closest to the autumn equinox.
The next full moon this month will be on Halloween.
