PUSD Superintendent shares plan as students head back to the classroom

Paradise superintendent 'tom taylor' told action news now reporter amy lanski..

They are doing everything they can to make it safe for students and staff.

### superintendent tom taylor: "well our focus is really falling under the guidelines of the cdc and california dept.

Of health and everything put out there by california dept of education."

Paradise schools superintendent tom taylor tells action news now those guidelines include providing students with ppe.

"it is having the masks, it is having partitions for students, it is social distancinng students, it is putting up signage, it is about putting put marking on the sidewalks."

Amy stand: "taylor says they have have also added plenty of hand sanitizer stations."((natt)) but that's not all "part of that is devleoping schedules.

What does it look like at the tk-6 levels, what does it look like at the 7-12 schedule?

Obviously a little different."

Amy 2 part stand: "here at paradise high school superintendent taylor says students will either be on campus monday and wednesday or tuesday and thursday.

But for younger students like here at paradise ridge elementary they will be going to school in am and pm waves."

7th through 12th will do online learning on fridays.

"students are going to be connected three days with teachers which is more than what we had with the distance learning and plus two of those days are in face."

Taylor says elementary school is ready to start on october 19th... but high school not until the 26th.
