48-year-old "boyce ballinger faces domestic violence and strangulation charges.

Court documents say his wife asked him how much he had to drink after leaving a gathering with neighbors, but the question made him angry...ballinger then charged at her and put his hands around her neck.the affidavit says his wife ran upstairs to the bedroom and sent a text to a fort wayne police captain.

Ballinger's court hearing is scheduled for thursday.
